Sarfraz Brohi is a senior lecturer in cyber security and programme leader of MSc IT at the School of Computing and Creative Technologies at the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol. He has a PhD in Cloud Security from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and an MSc in Software Engineering from Staffordshire University, UK. He has over a decade of computer science and cyber security teaching, research, and managerial experience at multiple universities, including Monash University Malaysia, Taylor's University, and Asia Pacific University, where he served in various roles such as Senior Lecturer, Programme Director, and Coordinator of T&L. He researches in the domains of cyber security methods for connected places, unmanned aerial vehicles communication security, cloud security and machine learning techniques for malware detection. He supports journals as a reviewer/editorial board member and has presented research at international conferences organised in various countries such as New Zealand, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, France, Singapore, and Spain. He has a proven track record of publication, with over 2000 citations. He supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students on industry projects and dissertations. He has a reliable network of collaborators and has secured funding from the British Council and the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.
