Prof. Dr. Hanguo Zhang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Forestry of the Northeast Forestry University. He received his Bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Northeast Forestry
University in 1986 and his Doctor of Science degree from Northeast Forestry University in 2000. From 1986 to 2004, he worked at the Institute of Forestry Science in Heilongjiang Province, engaged in forest genetic improvement. Furthermore, he is also the deputy director of the Professional Committee of Introduction and Domestication of Trees of the Chinese Society of Forestry, the deputy leader of the technical cooperation group of the National Larch Seed Base, a member of the Branch Committee of Forest Genetics and Breeding of the Chinese Society of Forestry, and a member of the Forest variety Certification Committee of the State Forestry Administration. Prof. Shujuan Li currently serves as a senior experimentalist at the College of Forestry of the Northeast Forestry University. She received her B.S. degree from the Department of Biology, Harbin
Normal University, in 1989 and earned her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the College of Forestry, Northeast Forestry University, in 2004 and 2009, respectively. From 2011 to 2015, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the research station of Daxinganling Beiqishen Green Industry Group Corporation. Her research topics mainly include forest genetic improvement and forest biotechnology.
