Francisco G. Longatt is a Professor in electrical power engineering at the Department of Electrical Engineering, IT and Cybernetics, University of Southeast Norway. Moreover, he is a founder and leader of the Leader of DIgEnSysLab. Francisco G. Longatt obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Instituto Universitario Politécnico de la Fuerza Armada Nacional in 1994, a Master of Business Administration from Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua in 1999, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Power Engineering from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2008. He then earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Professional Practice from Coventry University and a Diploma in Leadership and Management (ILM Level 3) from Loughborough University. His research keywords include power system dynamics, wind energy, wind energy resources, multi-terminal HVDC, and research and development.
