Diana Bajare has developed her academic career at RTU from a lecturer to a tenured professor in the field of Building Materials and Construction Technologies science with the topic "Sustainable building materials, innovative constructive systems and technologies". D. Bajare has worked both as a leading researcher and a scientific project leader in construction and transport engineering. Her main areas of activity include the construction materials and construction technology industry, where she has specialized and made significant contributions in both academic and research fields. In 2001, Diana Bajare obtained the scientific degree of Doctor of Engineering (Dr.sc.ing), which she defended at the Riga Technical University. Currently, she is the author of more than 150 scientific articles (125 of them are indexed in the Scopus database, with a citation rate of over 2,800 times). Diana Bajare's Hirsch Index is 26 and she is the author of 10 national patents.  Diana Bajare's participation in various projects and committees shows her active role in both the scientific and organizational spheres. She has been a manager or participant in several international and national level projects related to the development of construction materials, the use of secondary resources, circular economy, energy efficiency, sustainable construction, etc.
