Qinghua Wang is an associate professor at the School of
Mechanical Engineering, Southeast University. He graduated from Huazhong
University of Science and Technology in 2013 and obtained a master’s degree in
mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015. In May
2020, he received his doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University
of Iowa, USA, and joined the School of Mechanical Engineering, Southeast
University in the same year. His main research directions include laser
micro-nano processing and surface treatment technology, preparation and
characterization of bionic functional surfaces, and laser preparation
technology of optoelectronic components. In recent years, he has presided
over/participated in many scientific research projects, including the National
Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Project), the Natural Science
Foundation of Jiangsu Province (Youth Project), the Nanjing Science and
Technology Innovation Funding Project for Overseas Students, the Open Project
of the State Key Laboratory of High-Performance Complex Manufacturing, the
National Science Foundation of the United States, and the U.S. Department of
Energy Fund. He has participated in many international manufacturing
conferences and made corresponding theme reports. He has been selected for Jiangsu Provincial Innovative and Entrepreneurial Doctor Program and Zhishan Young Scholar Program of Southeast University.
