Prof. Dr. Raad Mohiaddin is a Professor of Cardiovascular Imaging at the Royal Brompton Hospital and National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. He obtained his Master’s and PhD degrees from the University of London. His main clinical and research interest has been developing and applying contemporary cross-sectional imaging techniques, particularly MRI in cardiology. His concern has been to make the best possible use of the functional and anatomical information provided by MRI in understanding congenital and acquired cardiovascular diseases and to guide the diagnosis and management of patients.
