Dr. Fumitaka Kawakami obtained his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Medical Sciences of Kitasato University. Currently, he works as a lecturer in the Health Science laboratory at Kitasato University with a specialization in neurodegenerative disease and neurochemistry. He is particularly familiar with brain function analysis and conducts research using techniques such as gene analysis, protein expression analysis, animal experiments, and cell culture. To develop his work in the field of Parkinson’s disease, he went to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 2015. In university education, he provides easy-to-understand lectures to students and is a good instructor for students who want to pursue a career in medicine. His hobby is growing vegetables.
