Dr. Sukamal Sarkar currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Agronomy at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute. He is also the Director of the Government of West Bengal and a Senior Researcher at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya. He completed his PhD in Agronomy and Crop Science from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya in 2021. His research interests include nutrient management, salinity ecosystems, APSIM modelling, and the nutrient dynamics of agronomic crops.
