Prof. Suzanne S. Farid obtained her BS in Biochemical Engineering (1997) and Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering (2001) from University College London (UCL), and she joined UCL as a Lecturer in 2001. Currently, she is the Head of Department for UCL Biochemical Engineering, Professor of Bioprocess Systems Engineering, Co-Director of the EPSRC-funded Future Targeted Healthcare Manufacturing Hub, and Director of the UCL-AstraZeneca Centre of Excellence. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (FREng) and a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (FIChemE).
