Dr. Massimiliano
Lanzafame is the Director of the Infectious Diseases Unit at Santa Chiara
Hospital, Trento, Italy. He earned a Specialist Diploma in Infectious Diseases
from the University of Verona and a scientific national qualification associate
professor since 2017. He is also the author and co-author of 206 scientific
publications. His areas of expertise are the prevention, diagnosis, and
treatment of HIV infection, antiretroviral therapy, and tuberculosis.
Prof. Sandro Vento
is the dean and distinguished professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of
Puthisastra in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He obtained his MD degree from the
University of Bologna, Italy, in 1980, undertook his postgraduate training at S.
Orsola University Hospital in Bologna, and became a Specialist in Infectious
Diseases in 1984. His research interests are early detection of liver
fibrosis and cirrhosis, optimization of antiretroviral treatment of HIV
infection, viral hepatitis, and autoimmune diseases.
