Dr. Francesco Baudi works as an assistant professor in the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine at The Magna Græcia University of Catanzaro, Catanzaro, Italy. He obtained a degree in medicine and a Ph.D. degree in molecular oncology at the University of Reggio Calabria, then specialized in clinical pathology at the Sapienza University of Rome. Dr. Baudi’s fields of interest include the mechanisms of inherited cancer susceptibility and molecular analysis of breast and ovarian cancers in Calabria, where he identified the first Italian founder mutation of the BRCA1 gene.

Dr. Francesco Paduano is the head of the Medical and Molecular Genetics Section at Marrelli Health SRL and a researcher at the Tecnologica Research Institute in Crotone, Italy.
