Iztok Gornjak is the assistant director for the energy and climate mechanisms department at Borzen d.o.o. Previously, he held the position of head of the renewable energy promotion department and assistant head of the support center at the same company. He graduated in 2008 with a degree in industrial engineering (mechanical engineering) and has been employed at Borzen since 2014. Currently, he is pursuing a doctoral degree in environmental protection engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maribor. His professional experience and academic background are focused on developing sustainable energy solutions and promoting the use of renewable energy sources in Slovenia.
