Current position: PhD student at ICARDA (International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas) and in the University Mohammed V, Rabat, Morocco. Experiences in the field: practice in the glasshouse and quality laboratory.
Current position: Zakaria Kehel is ICARDA's Head of Genetic Resources, Pre-breeding, and Gene Bank Operations/Senior Biometrician, Rabat, Morocco. He is a postdoctorant at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT). He is a research associate in Syria at ICARDA. He is a postdoctorant at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT).

Current position: Head of genetic resources and deputy director of biodiversity and crop improvement program at ICARDA, Rabat, Morocco. He worked since 1980 as a cereal breeder at INRA-Morocco and released 18 barley varieties, five triticales, and contributed to the development of Hessian-resistant varieties of bread wheat and durum wheat. He joined ICARDA as the regional coordinator of a GEF regional project on conservation and sustainable use of dryland agrobiodiversity (1999-2005), was the regional coordinator for the West Asia program of ICARDA (2000-2008), and was the ICARDA country manager in Iran (2005-2009). He has contributed to teaching at universities in Morocco and Jordan and advised 28 MSc. and PhD students. He published a total of 132 papers, including 72 in referred journals. He participated in collecting missions, contributed to the development of genebanks at ICARDA, and provided technical backstopping and training on genebank management and genetic resource conservation and use in more than 17 countries.

Moez Amri has a PhD in biological sciences and plant breeding. He is professor of genetics and plant breeding at the University of Mohamed VI Polytechnics (UM6P). He has more than 17 years of experience in agricultural research for development (R4D) in the dry areas. He is skilled in plant breeding with a proven record in genetic enhancement of cereal and food legume crops and development of innovative climate-change-resilient varieties for the most climate-change-vulnerable regions in the world; CWANA, M.
