Prof. Dr. Kai Zhou obtained his bachelor's degree in High-Voltage and Insulation Technology from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Chongqing University, attending from September 1994 to July 1998; his master's degree from the School of Electrical Engineering at Chongqing University, attending from September 2000 to July 2003; and his doctoral degree from Southwest Jiaotong University, attending from September 2004 to December 2008. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Sichuan University.
Research direction: state monitoring and fault diagnosis of power equipment, medium and high-voltage cable systems, overvoltage and insulation coordination in power systems, detection, and intelligent instruments.
