Author Biographies

Prof. Dr. Müsteyde Baduna Koçyiğit is the Associate Professor at Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey. She received her Ph.D. in Numerical Modeling of Wind-Induced Circulation in Lakes and Reservoirs from the University of Wales, Cardiff, School of Engineering, in 2002. She received her master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Science, Gazi University. From 1994 to 2004, she was a Research Assistant; from 2004 to 2005, she was a Lecturer; and from 2005 to present, she was an Assistant Professor at Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Gazi University. Her research mainly focused on Civil Engineering, Hydraulics, Water Resources Planning and Management, Hydraulic Structures, Open Channel Flow, Bridge Hydraulics, Engineering, and Technology.
Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Akay is the Associate Professor at Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey. He received his Ph.D./Master in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Science, Gazi University, in 2011 and 2018. He worked as a Research Assistant from 2009 to 2018 and then as a Research Assistant Ph.D. from 2018 to 2022 at Gazi University. Since 2022, he has been an Associate Professor at Gazi University. His research mainly focused on Civil Engineering, Hydraulics, Surface Water Engineering, Hydrology, and Bridge Hydraulics.
