Author Biographies

Viktor Zinchenko, Head of the Department of Chemistry of Functional Inorganic Materials at the O.V. Bogatsky Physico-Chemical Institute, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry, Kyiv University (1971), Doctor of Chemical Sciences (2000), Professor (2011). Formerly led the Chemistry Department at Kyiv Automotive and Road Institute. Member of the Ukrainian Materials Science Society since 2005, leading research in “Chemistry of Optical Materials.” Awarded the State Prize of Ukraine (2008) and a full member of the Ukrainian Academy of Engineering Sciences. He established principles for developing new interference optics and biocompatible apatite-based materials, along with advanced synthesis methods, including salt melts. V.F. Zinchenko serves on NASU Scientific Councils for "Inorganic Chemistry" and "Electrochemistry," and on the editorial boards of Physics and Chemistry of Solid State, Bulletin of the Ukrainian Materials Science Society, and Bulletin of Odessa National University. Chemistry. He is also a member of two Specialized Academic Councils for doctoral defenses in "Inorganic Chemistry" and "Analytical Chemistry." From 2002 to 2005, he represented Ukraine on NATO’s Advisory Panel on Civil Science and Technology for Security.
