Anna Crawford holds a PhD in Physics and Physical Oceanography from Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John’s, NL, Canada, granted in 2000. She has been with the Mine Warfare Research Group, DRDC Atlantic Research Centre, since 2001. Her research interests mainly focus on environmental sensing and seabed survey for mine countermeasure applications, in particular
using unmanned vehicles and sidescan sonar.
