Dr. Mohammad Hojjat-Farsangi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology-Pathology, BioClinicum, Karolinska University Hospital Solna, Stockholm, Sweden. He received his PhD in Medical Immunology and Targeted Cancer Therapy from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran during the period of 2004–2009. He has successfully completed two post-doctoral periods on targeted-based cancer therapy with a focus on ROR1 receptor tyrosine kinase. He is serving as an expert reviewer for journals like Tumor Biology, Leukemia, Hepatitis Monthly, Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics, Frontiers in Oncology and Immunology, British Journal of Hematology and Medical Oncology. He has authored more than 80 research articles. His main research interests include tumor biology, leukemia & lymphoma, monoclonal antibody production, small molecule inhibitors, designing tumor specific peptides, hepatitis, and human vaccines.
