Mr Alexander Shao-Rong Pang is a 4th-year medical student at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). He has been awarded multiple research accolades, such as the prestigious NUS Medicine Student Research Mentorship Programme Merit Award and Grant, and the NUS Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Prize 2024. He has published four papers in various journals and is Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Hesyra, a local healthtech starup, as well as Project Director in the NUS MedTech Society. His key interests include orthopaedic surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, nanotechnology, and tissue engineering.
