Dr. Linjun Wang is a professor and the director of the Optoelectronic Materials and Devices Research Center at the Shanghai University. His main research areas include wide bandgap semiconductor materials (diamond film, ZnO film, CdZnTe crystal and thin film materials, and nuclear radiation detection devices), the design and technology of optoelectronic devices, and photovoltaic materials and devices. He has been awarded two Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Awards and one Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award. He is the Vice Chairman of the New Materials and Surface Technology Branch of the Chinese Internal Combustion Engine Society, the Vice President of the Shanghai New Materials Association, the Member of the Electronic Materials Professional Committee of the Chinese Electronics Society, the Member of the Electronic Materials and Components Professional Committee of the Chinese Vacuum Society, and the Director of the Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Society.
