Author Biographies

GHASSAN HAMEED FARAJ was born in 1979 in Iraq. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Babel University in Iraq and his Master’s Degree in Telecommunication System from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. He is currently a PhD candidate at University of Isfahan. His favorite research fields include cryptography, image processing and blockchain technology.
DR. KAMAL SHAHTALEBI was born in Isfahan, Iran, and received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), in 1990, 1994 and 2000, respectively, all in Electrical Engineering. He has followed two postdoctoral programs at Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada, in 2003 and 2005. Currently, he is a faculty member of the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Isfahan. His main research interests are in the areas of adaptive algorithms and cryptographic protocols with the particular focus on non-statistical approaches.
DR. HAMID MALA received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), in 2003, 2006, and 2011, respectively. He joined the Department of Information Technology Engineering, University of Isfahan (UI), in 2011. He is currently with the Faculty of Computer Engineering, UI, as an Associate Professor. His research interests include design and cryptanalysis of block ciphers, cryptographic protocols and post-quantum cryptography.
