Dr. Max Mauro Dias Santos has the following academic background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Industrial Engineering from the Catholic Institute of Minas Gerais (1993); Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1996); PhD in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2004); and Post-Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Aveiro, Portugal (2005/2006). He worked at Volvo Powertrain (VPT) in Product Development and Control Systems as a Senior Product Development Engineer (2009–2010), where he developed hardware and software control systems for the powertrain for VTC, VBC, and VCE. He worked at the GM Tech Center of General Motors do Brasil in SCS/SP, acting directly in the Electrical, Control, Software, and Infotainment (ECS&I) group as Senior Product Engineer for Chassis Electronics (DRE-CE), Electrical Architect (EA), and Vehicle Software Integration Engineer (VSIE) (2010–2012). He is currently an Associate Professor at DAELE (Department of Electronics) at UTFPR-PG (Ponta Grossa) in the areas of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He is a senior member of IEEE and an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles.
Evandro Leonardo Silva Teixeira received his first B.S. degree in electromechanics from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology, Brazil, in 2004, his master’s and Ph.D. degrees in mechatronic systems from the University of Brasília, Brazil in 2006 and 2012, respectively, and his second B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from UDF University Centre,in 2018. He is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Brasilia. His research interests include automotive electronics, embedded systems, automotive control, modeling, and simulation.
