Nijole Savickienė is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and CEO of the startup RamaZottius Lab. She graduated from the Kaunas University of Medicine and received her Ph.D. in Medical and Health Sciences. She also received training at the Balsgard Institute of Selection and Genetics of Plants (Sweden) and the Postgraduate Institute for Doctors and Pharmacists (Ukraine). She is a member of the Lithuanian Apitherapy Society and Endobiogeny and Integral Physiology Association. In her research, she deals with various biological activities of phenolics, proteins, and glycoproteins, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic effects in the field of periodontal diseases, diabetes, and carcinogenesis. She was coordinator of the international projects: EUREKA E!3695 “ANTIOKSDIABET”, Horizon 2020 M.era.net “PELARGODONT”, EUREKA E!13474—ECO-AQUA-RECYCLE. Lina Raudone is a Professor at the Department of
Pharmacognosy, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Kaunas, Lithuania. She
has been Chief Researcher at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technologies since
2019. She received her pharmacist professional qualification and master’s degree
in 2006. She obtained her Ph.D. from the Lithuanian University of Health
Sciences in 2011. Her research interests include natural products; plant extracts;
antioxidants; and phytochemistry.
