Zhao Xiao received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Automation at Hunan University of Science and Technology and his Ph.D. at Hunan University. After graduation, he joined the School of Mechanical Engineering, Hunan University of Science and Technology as a Lecturer and is now an Associate Professor. In 2020, he was a visiting scholar at the Harbin Electric Wind Energy Co., Ltd. (now SinoAzure Wind Power, Co., Ltd.). He is also a member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. His research interests include wind power big data mining and analysis, intelligent robot design, digital twin technology, complex equipment structure optimization design, and reliability analysis.
