Xiaoduo Xie is a principal investigator at the School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University. He graduated from the Department of Biology, Hunan Normal University in 2003 and received his Ph.D. from the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. From 2008 to 2011, he conducted postdoctoral research in Kun-Liang Guan’s laboratory at the Moores Cancer Center, University of California, San Diego. From 2012 to 2018, he was an associate researcher at the Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In June 2018, he joined the School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University as a professor introduced by Sun Yat-sen University’s “Hundred Talents Program.” His research directions include environmental stress and cell fate determination, tumor diagnosis, treatment, and precision intervention strategies, and the establishment of new biochemical and genetic screening methods.
