PhD. eng. Joanna Jaroszewicz is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Spatial Planning and Environmental Sciences, The
Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography, Warsaw University of Technology (since 2004). She is an expert in GIScience, analyzing spatial data to support decision-making processes and the role of cartography in social communication. Her research topics mainly include multi-criteria spatial analysis methods in participatory spatial planning, group spatial decision-making, and analysis of continuous changes occurring in city space and time. She is a Member of the Polish Association of Spatial Information and the Association of Polish Cartographers.
