Dr. Sha Xue is a researcher in the Soil and Water Conservation and Ecological Environment Research Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University in 2000 and 2004, respectively. He then obtained his Ph.D. from the Soil and Water Conservation and Ecological Environment Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2007. From 2007–07 to 2009–06, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Xi'an University of Technology. From 2013–04 to 2014–04, he was a visiting scholar at the Wageningen University, The Netherlands. Since 2009–07, he has been a researcher in the Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was awarded the Shaanxi Province Youth Science and Technology Rising Star in 2023 and was awarded the Leading Talent in Forestry and Grassland Science and Technology Innovation. In the past five years, he has published 68 SCI-Indexed papers as the first author/corresponding author. His research fields are ecological restoration and soil microbial ecology.
