Witoon Prinyawiwatkul holds a PhD in food science from the University of Georgia, USA. He is currently the Horace J. Davis Endowed Professor of Food Science at Louisiana State University, Agricultural Center, Louisiana, USA. His research focuses on sensory sciences and consumer research, as well the value-added development of healthier products. He oversees the Sensory Services Lab (https://www.lsuagcenter.com/portals/our_offices/departments/food-science/sensory%20services%20labx). He actively collaborates with researchers worldwide. He is a fellow of the IFT (Institute of Food Technologists, USA). He has served as a scientific editor/section editor/associate editor/editorial board member for several prestigious journals, including Foods.
