Amin Zollanvari received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA, in 2010. He held a Postdoctoral position with Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA, USA, from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, he was an Assistant Research Scientist with the Department of Statistics, Texas A&M University. Since 2015, he has been with Nazarbayev University, where he is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He has authored more than 90 papers in technical journals and conference proceedings and is the author of the textbook titled Machine Learning with Python: Theory and Implementation (Springer, 2023). His research interests include machine learning, statistical signal processing, and biomedical informatics.
