Mateusz Kopytek received an engineering degree in automatic control and robotics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (WPUT) in 2023 and an M.S. degree in 2024. He is currently a PhD student at the Doctoral School of the WPUT. His scientific interests include quality assessment of stitched panoramic and binary images and machine vision applications for mobile robotics.
Piotr Lech obtained an engineering degree in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Szczecin University of Technology in 1993 and his master's degree in 1995. In 2004, he obtained a Ph.D. in technical sciences (electrical engineering). His scientific interests include Industrial Internet of Things applications, with particular emphasis on machine vision and artificial intelligence.
Prof. Krzysztof Okarma is the Head of the Department of Signal Processing and Multimedia Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (WPUT). He received two M.S. degrees from the Szczecin University of Technology, Poland, in electronics and telecommunication in 1999 with honors and in computer science in 2001. He also obtained a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 2003, a habilitation degree in automation and robotics from the WPUT in 2013, and finally the title of professor in 2024. He is the author or co-author of over 200 papers and holds two patents. He is the chairman of the Board of Control in the Polish chapter of the Association for Image Processing (IAPR). His scientific interests include computer and machine vision and image processing and analysis, particularly image quality assessment and signal processing methods.
