Dr. Evangelia Kouidi is a cardiologist, exercise physiologist, and Professor of Sports Medicine. She is also the Director of the Laboratory of Sports Medicine at the School of Physical Education and Sports Science at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece. She is the supervisor of the exercise rehabilitation programs of the laboratory for renal and cardiac patients and patients with other chronic diseases. She has research experience on the effects of exercise training on cardiac morphology and function and skeletal muscle atrophy.
