Author Biographies

Magaly L. García-Senlle is a pre-doctoral researcher at the Universitat of València (UV) and clinical psychologist, with expertise in gender studies and sexuality. Her current research interests focus on the impact of gender roles and sexual satisfaction, neurodivergency in adults, and intergenerational differences in attitudes towards gender violence.
Manuel Martín-Fernández, PhD., is an assistant professor of social psychology at the University of Valencia, Spain. He has primarily published and conducted research on statistical methods for the study of intimate partner violence against women and public attitudes related to this type of violence.
Raquel Conchell is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the University of Valencia. Her research is focused on the social visibility of violence in intimate partner relationships. She is a member of the intervention program for perpetrators of intimate partner violence (Programa Contexto).
Sara Arrojo is a research assistant in the Center on Poverty and Community Development at Case Western Reserve University. She received her PhD in Psychology at the University of Valencia. Her research interests are focused on the analysis of adolescents’ attitudes toward dating violence and intervention proposals for at-risk populations.
Marisol Lila, PhD, is a full professor of the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Valencia. Her research focuses on the social visibility of intimate partner violence and the justice system’s response to intimate partner violence. She is the director of an intervention program for IPV perpetrators (Programa Contexto; https://www.uv.es/contexto).
