Prof. Dr. Xun
Cai is a Professor and a Master’s and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of
Software at Shandong University. She received her MSc in Computer Applications
(2002) and PhD in Software and Theory (2007) from Shandong University. From
August 2009 to September 2010, she was a Visiting Scholar at the Department of
Electronics and Power Engineering, University of Texas at Arlington, USA. She
has won many awards including the Shandong Province Science and Technology
Award and the China National Textile and Apparel Council Science and Technology
Award. She is mainly engaged in research in computer science and the
interdisciplinary field of material computing. Her research interests primarily
include machine learning, artificial neural networks and deep learning,
material computing, image processing and recognition, and industrial software
simulation.
Prof. Dr. Shuai Li is a Professor and QiLu Young Scholar at the School of Control Science and Engineering at Shandong University. He received his PhD from the University of Wollongong, Australia (2018). He was with the School of Information and Communication Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), China, as an Associate Professor from 2018 to 2020. He was a co-recipient of two best paper awards at the IEEE, BMSB 2014 and IIH-MSP 2013, respectively. His research interests include image/video coding, 3D video processing, and computer vision.
