Dr. Doreen W.H. Au received her PhD from the University
of Toronto, a Master’s, and and BA (Hons) from McMaster University. She is an Assistant
Professor at the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, Hong Kong Metropolitan
University. Her main research interests include aging, mental health,
integrative medicine and complementary therapies, health economics, health and
healthcare policy, environmental psychology, technology impact analysis, and
digital game-based learning.
Dr. William C. Cho is a Biomedical Scientist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in Hong Kong. He is a Chartered Scientist granted by the Science Council (UK), a Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner (HK), and a Fellow Member of several institutes, including the Institute of Biomedical Science (UK), Hong Kong Institute of Biomedical Science, and Hong Kong Society for Molecular Diagnostic Sciences. Dr. Cho’s main research interests have focused on cancer studies to discover biomarkers for cancer diagnosis, treatment prediction, and prognostication. As a seasoned researcher, Dr. Cho
has published more than 600 peer-reviewed papers (Lancet, Lancet Oncology, Annals of Oncology, Advanced Science, Nature Communications, PNAS, Molecular Cancer, Journal of Thoracic Oncology, etc.) and dozens of books (including “An Omics Perspective on Cancer Research”, “MicroRNAs in Cancer Translational Research”, “Drug Repurposing in Cancer Therapy: Approaches and Applications”, etc). Dr. Cho has been included in the world's top 2% most influential scientists in Stanford's list since 2017. Recently, Dr. Cho was also listed in the Highly Cited Researchers in 2023 by Clarivate.
