Dr. Yuyang Zhao received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Rockford in 2014. He received a PhD degree from the University of Missouri at St. Louis in 2019. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute for Macroeconomic Policy in Education at East China Normal University from 2019 to 2021. Currently, he is a lecturer in the Department of Social Work at Shanghai University. He is the lead researcher of the project “Research on the Formation Mechanism and Policy Protection of Teachers’ Professional Identity in Elementary and Middle Schools” at the National Institute of Macroeconomic Policy in Education, East China Normal University. His research interests include emotion management, social competence, teacher development, and methodology.
