Author Biographies

Fan Yang , female, born in April 1982, Han ethnicity, from Yueyang, Hunan. She holds a PhD from Hunan University and a postdoctoral fellow from Tsinghua University. Professor at the School of Architecture and Arts, Central South University, supervisor for master's and doctoral students in the Department of Urban and Rural Planning, national first-class constructor, national registered planner, and senior engineer in urban and rural planning. Served as a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as a project and consulting review expert for the Hunan Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Construction. Her main research directions include urban and rural planning theory and design, urban ecological restoration, and land spatial control. Published over 40 academic papers in mainstream journals both domestically and internationally, and led and participated in multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and at the provincial and ministerial level. Guided students to win over 20 awards in national and provincial planning and design competitions, and their teaching achievements have been reported by mainstream media such as People's Daily.
