Prof. Yu Hu is an Associate Professor at the Department of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering, Tsinghua University, and the Deputy Director of the Institute of River and Hydropower Engineering, Department of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering. He completed his Master’s studies in Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering and his PhD studies in Hydraulic Structure at Tsinghua University. His research mainly focuses on the real performance of concrete and rock materials, high dam safety monitoring and simulation analysis, high dam deformation failure mechanisms and deformation control.
