Dr. Kristen Lyall is an Associate Professor in the AJ Drexel Autism Institute of Drexel University. She obtained her B.A. in biology and psychology from Middlebury College in 2001 and her Sc.D. in epidemiology from Harvard School of Public Health in 2010. Then, she conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard School of Public Health (April 2010–September 2010) and the University of California, Davis and MIND Institute (September 2010–April 2014). From May 2014 to June 2015, she was a Research Scientist III in the Environmental Health Investigations Branch, California Department of Public Health. In July 2015, she joined the AJ Drexel Autism Institute of Drexel University as an assistant professor. Since September 2021, she has been an associate professor. Her work focuses on examining environmental factors during critical time frames of neurodevelopment in association with autism in order to learn more about the condition’s complex etiology.
