L. Mike Conner is a wildlife scientist at The Jones Center at Ichauway. He received his Ph.D. degree in Wildlife Ecology at Mississippi State University in 1995. His interests include predator ecology, the impacts of predators on prey populations, and the role of habitat and habitat management on predation processes. He is active in The Wildlife Society and has served as President of the Georgia Chapter. He also served for three years as an Associate Editor for the Wildlife Society Bulletin and the Journal of Wildlife Management. His outreach activities extend from his research interests and include seminars, workshops, and short courses on managing predation and the predation process.
Robert A. McCleery is a professor at the Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, University of Florida, where he has worked since 2010. He received his Ph.D. degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences at Texas A&M University in 2007. He began working with wildlife in Florida as a master’s student at Texas A&M University. He has developed a globally recognized research lab that fosters professional development, collaborations, and most importantly, measurable contributions to wildlife ecology and conservation. His research was focused on mammal ecology and conservation.
