Prof. Dr. Buchun Liu has successively served as the Deputy Director, the Director of the Research Laboratory, and an Associate Researcher and Researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Environment and Sustainable Development, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. She received a Ph.D. at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, majoring in Crop Ecology, from 2004 to 2007. From October to November 2013, she went to the Kyoto University Institute of Disaster Reduction, Japan, as a visiting scholar.
