Author Biographies

Dr. Kai Xu is currently an assistant research fellow at the Northwest Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in China. He received his Ph.D. in the department of Civil Engineering at the Hunan University, majoring in Civil Engineering. His main research specializes in structural vibration control of civil and mechanical engineering, nonlinear dynamics and nonlinear vibration control.
Mr. Weiwei Wang is currently a research assistant fellow at the Northwest Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in China. He received his master degree at the Northwest Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. His research mainly concentrates on mechanical design, industrial equipment vibration control and structural dynamics analysis.
Mr. Hui Liang is currently an associate research fellow at the Northwest Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in China. He received his master degree at the Northwest Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. His research mainly specializes in mechanical design, structural dynamics analysis and mechatronics design.
Mr. Aifeng Liu is currently a research fellow at the Northwest Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in China. He received his master degree at the Northwestern Polytechnical University, majoring in Software Engineering. His main research specializes in electrical automatic control algorithms, permanent magnet synchronous motor control strategies and stability control methods of large load manipulators.
Mr. Jianmin Yang is currently a research fellow at the Northwest Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in China. He received his master degree at the NUST(Nanjing University of Science and Technology), majoring in Mechanical Engineering. His research mainly specializes in mechanical design, structural dynamics analysis and topological optimization.
Dr. Jingzhou Gao, working at Northwest Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering as an assistant researcher, has a Doctor of Engineering and graduated from Xi 'an Jiaotong University as a Mechanical Engineering major. Dr. Jingzhou Gao's main research fields are mechatronics, flywheel energy storage systems and integrated motors with automatic control strategies.
Dr. Bei Chen is currently an associate professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Hunan University in China. Prior to his recent appointment at the Hunan University, he was a postdoc in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Hunan University. Dr. Bei Chen received his undergraduate degree from Changsha University of Science and Technology in China, postgraduate degree and Ph.D. in the Department of Civil Engineering at Hunan University. Dr. Chen's expertise lies in structural vibration control and wind turbine dynamics.
