Prof. Yongsheng Dong joined Henan University of Science and Technology, China, in 2012 and currently serves as a Professor and Department Chair at the School of Information Engineering. He earned his Doctor of Science from Peking University (Beijing, China) and was a postdoctoral researcher at the Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on computer vision, pattern recognition, deep learning, statistical learning, and artificial intelligence. He has served as a reviewer for more than 30 international authoritative journals, including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, and ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology.
