Dr. Bojan Zaric is a specialist in internal medicine and a subspecialist in medical oncology. Dr. Zaric holds a master’s degree (MSc) in pulmonology and a PhD degree in thoracic oncology. His interventional pulmonology training was obtained within the European Respiratory Society Fellowship at the Thoraxklinik, Heidelberg, and since then he has served as an ERS Fellow. Dr. Zaric is the head of the Department for Diagnostics and Treatment of Lung Cancer at the Clinic for Pulmonary Oncology, Institute for Pulmonary Diseases of Vojvodina, and head of the Clinical Trials Unit. He is an associate professor of internal medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad. During his career, he was a principal investigator and co-investigator in numerous academic and sponsored clinical trials. Dr. Zaric is a member of scientific and organizing committees for national and international conferences and congresses in thoracic oncology and interventional pulmonology. He is an active member of ESMO, ASCO, ERS, EABIP, AARC, WABIP, and national pulmonary and oncology associations.
