Author Biographies

Yucheng Guo received his bachelor's in Building Electricity and Intelligence from Tongji University in 2022, and he is now pursuing Master in Architecture at Tongji University. His research topics mainly include sustainable city and building, building energy performance, and renewable energy application in buildings.
Dr. Jie Shi is an Associate Professor at the Sino-German College of Applied Sciences, Tongji University. She completed her Ph.D degree in Architecture from the College of Architecture and Urban Planning in 2008. She worked as a postdoctoral at Tongji University (2008-2010). After that, she joined the Sino-German College of Applied Sciences, Tongji University. She has completed the postdoctoral scientific projects, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Municipal Scientific Research Projects, and a number of Shanghai International Cooperation Projects, as well as several horizontal projects. She has published more than 40 papers, including a few SCI/EI papers, more than 10 papers in core journals, 1 monograph, 1 edited book, 1 standardised atlas, and 2 patents. She is mainly engaged in research on green and energy efficient building, regional solar potential and energy planning, intelligent control technology for the built environment, green construction, design, and assessment planning.

Fei Guo completed his bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees, all from the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University in 2003, 2005, and 2008, respectively. He joined the School of Architecture and Fine Art, Dalian University of Technology as a Lecturer in 2008, then an Associate Professor (2011–2018), and was promoted to Professor in 2018. He won the second prize of the 2020 Liaoning Excellent Urban and Rural Planning Design Award and the second prize of the 2021 Liaoning Provincial Civil Engineering and Architecture Science and Technology Innovation Award. He is mainly engaged in research on building energy efficiency, urban climate, and urban disaster prevention.

Lingqi Su received his Ph.D. from Friedrich Schiller University Jena in 2021. In 2024, he moved to Sino-German College of Applied Sciences on Tongji University and became an assistant professor. His research topics mainly include: AI-assisted design and operation of district energy systems, thermo-active building system.
