Meiran Zhiyenbayev received his master's degree in computer information systems from Boston University in 2016 and is now pursuing his PhD in intelligent control systems at Al Farabi Kazakh National University. From 2016 to 2021, he worked in different IT companies and commercial banks in the position of data engineer. In 2022, he started a position as a researcher and lecturer in the Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Department. His research topics mainly include IOT, data management, data governance, data engineering, and ETL.
Prof. Dr. Nadezhda Kunicina, a scientific expert at the Latvian Academy of Science, is a professor at Riga Technical University, and her fields of scientific interests are electrical engineering, cybersecurity, embedded systems, sustainable transport systems, effective lighting, equipment design, industrial as well as micro- and nano-electronics, and energy saving in the automotive sector. She is the scientific project leader of ERASMUS + Project: Development of practically oriented student-centered education in the field of modeling of Cyber-Physical Systems (CybPhys). Her research topics mainly include electrical engineering, the Internet of Things, the study program, communication technologies, information and communication technologies, etc.
Dr. Antons Patlins works as a Leading Researcher at Riga Technical University. He serves as an expert for the Latvian Academy of Sciences/Latvian Council of Science in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, information and communication technologies, economics, geography, and educational sciences. He earned a PhD in electrical engineering and a Master's degree in information technology from Riga Technical University. Additionally, he also holds a natural sciences Master's degree in geography from the University of Latvia. His research interests are broad, covering transportation, supply chains, sustainability, economics, electrical engineering, control algorithms, electronics, information and communication technologies, educational sciences, and geography.
