Joseph Polden is currently a Research Fellow at the Faculty
of Engineering and Information Sciences, School of Mechanical Materials
Mechatronic and Biomedical Engineering, University of Wollongong. He earned his
Ph.D. degree from the University of Wollongong in 2014, then he completed
post-doctoral fellowships at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing
Technology (SIMTech) and the Advanced Remanufacturing Technology Centre (ARTC)
before joining the ROS-Industrial Consortium to assist in developing open
source software platforms for industrial applications. His professional
experience and research activities relate largely to developing robotics
solutions for manufacturing applications.
