Prof. Dr. Liebao Han received a Bachelor of Turfgrass Sciences from Gansu Agricultural University in 1987, a Master’s of Turfgrass Sciences from the same University in 1990, and a PhD of Turfgrass Sciences from China Agricultural University in 1996. He is a doctor, professor, and doctoral supervisor at the School of Forestry, Beijing Forestry University. He is also the director of the Lawn Research Institute of Beijing Forestry University and the head, leader, and founder of the grass discipline; a director of the Golf Education and Research Center at Beijing Forestry University; a chairman of the International Lawn Society; an executive director of the Chinese Grass Society; a deputy director of the Lawn Professional Committee, Education Professional Committee, and Youth Working Committee of the Chinese
