Dr. Mitica Ciorpac joined the Danube Delta National Institute for Research and Development in 2017 and became the head of the Genetic and Molecular Ecology Lab. He joined the CEMEX team in 2021 as an experienced scientist in genetics, establishing the Molecular and Biochemistry Diagnostics facility and the NGS Lab with the CEMEX team. He completed a Master’s in Molecular Genetics at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași in 2012. He obtained his PhD in Genetics at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in 2015. His research interests include molecular genetics, molecular biology, and bioinformatics.
