Anisha Nijhawan received an MS in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, earned a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma, and is currently a Senior Research Associate in WASH and Environmental Health at the School of Civil, Aerospace and Design Engineering of the University of Bristol. Prior to joining the University of Bristol, Anisha Nijhawan was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oklahoma. Anisha Nijhawan’s research interests include WASH in low- and middle-income countries, drinking water treatment and quality, climate resilience, monitoring and risk assessments, and Water Safety Plans.
Francesca Pianosi is currently an Associate Professor in Water and Environmental Engineering at the School of Civil, Aerospace and Design Engineering, University of Bristol, whose research and teaching activities focus on improving the way of use data analysis and mathematical modelling for hydrology and water engineering applications. Francesca Pianosi trained as an environmental engineer at Technology University of Milan (Politecnico di Milano), where Francesca Pianosi also gained a Ph.D. in Information Engineering in 2008. In 2009–2010, Francesca Pianosi was a visiting researcher at the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft, the Netherlands.
