Author Biographies

Danilo Machado de Oliveira is an electrical engineer. He graduated from Faculdade Pitágoras in 2020 and completed his master's degree in Telecommunications at the National Institute of Telecommunications (INATEL) in 2024, where he developed the project "Smart Trap for Aedes Aegypti Mosquito Detection Based on IoT and Computer Vision". In addition, he completed an MBA in Project Management at the University of São Paulo (USP-ESALQ) in 2023.
Samuel Mafra received his B.Sc. degree from Santa Catarina State University (UDESC), Joinville, Brazil, in 2010, his M.Sc. degree from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Curitiba, Brazil, in 2012, and his D.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR) in 2015. He held a post-doctoral position at UFPR from September 2015 to May 2018. He is currently a Professor at the National Institute of Telecommunications (Inatel), Brazil. His research interests lie in the broad area of wireless communication theory, with applications to cognitive radio networks, cooperative communications, and the Internet of Things. He is the coordinator of the IoT Research Group at Inatel.
